Launch of 3rd edition of the Autism Guideline A new Supplementary Papers has been completed updating the guideline on supports for autistic students in tertiary education. This paper is available here. The 3rd edition of the Guideline was released on 21 November 2022: Aotearoa New Zealand Autism Guideline: He Waka Huia Takiwātanga Rau. The launch was conducted by the Minister of Disability Issues, Hon Poto Williams, and Associate Minister of Education, Hon Jan Tinetti. INSIGHT Research's Director Marita Broadstock conducted the substantial revisions relating to language reflecting perspectives around neurodiversity, and te ao Māori, as well as introducing updates from completed Supplementary Papers. The systematic review for the 15th update topic for the Guideline on sex/gender differences in autistic characteristics has been completed and will shortly be published on the Whaikaha website.
