Sarah Hogan Health Economist

- Sarah has a master’s degree in economics from McGill University in Canada and has worked in health economics since 1999.
- Her experience includes working within the Canadian ministry of health (Health Canada) on establishing a framework for accountability as well as promoting the use of evidence-based research and analysis.
- In New Zealand, Sarah established her own economics consulting company, Canterbury Economic Consulting, and has done work for New Zealand Health Technology Assessment and Health Services Assessment Collaboration.
- She has conducted cost analysis, cost-effectiveness analysis and financial impact analysis on a range of health technologies and programmes for a variety of New Zealand and Australian-based clients.
